What the what?!?!?
Mom's boyfriend-babysitter for the six kids living in the home called mom to say
that 10 m/o baby was not “breathing right” and said he "didn't do it." *

Not him, it just happened, right?
And BTW, nice bling on your wrists.

* "Widdick [boyfriend-babysitter] called Nelson [mom] to say that the child was not “breathing right” and that he “didn’t do it.”
He later admitted he dropped the infant down a flight of steps and was forceful when he placed the child in a crib.
Investigators accused Widdick of beating the baby, causing deep brain injuries,
a rib fracture, hemorrhages in both eyes and bruises to his head and torso.

Justice For All Of Our Innocent Little Ones.

August 2015:

Eddie Frank Widdick pleaded guilty to third-degree murder Wednesday for killing his girlfriend’s infant son...

The child’s young age meant the district attorney could pursue the death penalty. However, first-degree murder and other charges will be dropped at sentencing in exchange for pleading guilty to third-degree murder...

He would later admit to investigators he dropped the infant down a flight of stairs and had been forceful putting the child in a crib because he was angry with other children in the home. He squeezed the baby’s torso and hit his head, police said.

In an autopsy, forensic pathologist Barbara Boilinger found the infant suffered brain injuries, rib fractures, hemorrhages in both eyes, bruises and other injuries...

McCambridge said her office was confident in the case, but trials are “always a gamble” and the family could benefit from hearing Widdick accept responsibility.

September 2015:

He was my youngest and I was blessed to have him, to hold him, to love him,” a sobbing Ashley Nelson told Lackawanna County Judge James Gibbons on Friday before the judge sentenced Mr. Widdick to 12 to 25 years in state prison...

At the time the child was fatally injured, Mr. Widdick was caring for seven small children in the home while Ms. Nelson — mother of five of the children, including Silas’ twin sister — was not home. The boy’s biological father was incarcerated at the time, prosecutors said.

Another twin! Seems like twins are a lot more likely to be murdered by their caregivers. I wonder if the statistics confirm that.
