Portuguese soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been hit with an underwear lawsuit from a US businessman, Christopher Renzi, who says he already trademarked the CR7 brand Ronaldo's chosen, back in 2009.
'(Renzi's) lawyer filed a complaint in a Rhode Island federal court last Monday, saying Renzi had received pressing letters from JBS (Ronaldo's business partner) demanding he give up the brand.'
' They dont really have the trademark rights because they havent used it, his lawyer, Michael Feldhuhn, told news agency Reuters.
We just want them to leave us alone. '
