According to Jamestown Police, 43-year-old Joseph D. Anthony was last seen in the 700 block of East Second Street at about 10:30 p.m. In the nearly two weeks since then, he has not been in contact with his family or his employers.

Anthony is described as a white male with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighs 280 pounds.

Samuelson says they don't believe foul play is involved; however, he says they don't really have a lot of information to lead them to believe that. He says Anthony reportedly left all his belongs at his Broadhead Avenue home, including diabetes medication.

From other articles i read he was last seen at a place called The Dash. When i looked it up mostly what came up was The Dash Inn. I also found one place called Dash that was a bar but it wasn't in the 700's. Alot of postings on the topix thread for Jamestown about Joseph.
 
There is a search that started in the past couple days in or near Sugar Grove PA and alleged reports of a body found. So - there is speculation it could be Joseph.
 
So sad to hear this----body being found at least gives an answer to family and friends-------sadly not the answer one would hope for.

The FBI is involved because the investigation reportedly crossed over the state line, making it federal case. The two are also working with the Pennsylvania and New York State Police, and Chautauqua County Forensic Team, along with other local law enforcement.
