Widowed grandfather inconsolable, until family call, with a sweet surprise

A Grieving grandfather in Grand-Bigard, Belgium, was inconsolable after the death of his wife of 63 years.

.....until his family from Dilbeek bought him a puppy. The video's in Flemish but don't worry if you don't understand the language - you really don't need to. Just look at his reaction.

I'm sure the Van Haesendonck family pet is going to have a wonderful life.

Flemish, google translated article with video and English subtitles:

I've been rewatching that video all day. And sobbing. To make myself happy...

Puppy's going to have a lovely life, by the way. I know this area.

ETA: and thank you so much Tlyca for posting the video!

We are the watchers. We are witnesses. We see what has gone before. We see what happens now, at this dangerous moment in human history. We see what's going to happen - what will surely happen - unless we come together: we - the Peoples of all Nations - to restore peace and harmony and balance to the Earth, our Mother.
