Found Deceased LA - Brandon Augusta, 15, Donaldsonville, 10 Aug 2014 *Arrests*

Brandon Augusta was last seen on Aug. 10 around 1 p.m. at his home. He was getting into a gray car.

He was last seen wearing a navy blue jersey and navy shorts... Brandon is 6-feet tall and has brown eyes and black hair.

Detectives are investigating a body found along the levee in Donaldsonville Thursday afternoon...

"We are treating this as a homicide and although the body has not been identified, it does appear that it is a body of a young black male," said Sheriff Wiley.

Sheriff Jeff Wiley said the death is being investigated as a homicide, but the APSO hasn’t revealed how the teen was killed. Detectives said last week that the body had suffered blunt-force trauma to the head and foul play is suspected.

Tyrell Williams, 18, and Marcus Ester, 21, have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the 2014 homicide of Brandon Augusta, who was 15 years old.

Two additional juveniles, ages 16, and 17, have been transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center for their involvement in the homicide.

Deputies found a badly beaten body along the Mississippi River in Donaldsonville in August 2014. Investigators used dental records before officially identifying the body.

Three teens and one man accused of beating a 15-year-old Donaldsonville High student to death in August 2014 pleaded not guilty to murder charges during their arraignment Monday.

Marcus Ester, 21; Tyrell Williams, 18; Kahlil Howard, 17; and Kaglin Green, 16, all of Donaldsonville, were indicted on single counts of second degree murder in August...

A state district judge in mid-June ruled the youngest defendants, Green and Howard, could be tried as adults in the slaying.
