WINNIPEG - A notorious sexual deviant who raped and murdered a two-year-old girl 33 years ago was killed in his cell in a Manitoba prison.

Stony Mountain Institution staffers were unable to resuscitate Duane Edward Taylor, 53.

Taylor had been serving an indeterminate sentence since Sept. 8, 1982, for the first-degree murder of two-year-old April Marie Morrison in Kingston, Ont.

After 33 years it's hard to imagine this was retribution for the crime he was incarcerated for.

He continued to piss people off?

Not feeling any sympathy just yet with the info available.

I'm surprised there was even an article, if for nothing else it should shine the spotlight of remembrance on little April Marie Morrison of Kingston.

My brother who has been in that institution said they never forget a sicko like that. In prison crimes against children are considered the lowest of the low. No sympathy here less tax payers money for a person IMO that will never ever change.
