PA - Press sleuth possible link in attempted child abductions

Great work that Abc27 in PA picked up on the similarities and alerted authorities.

'When Abc27 spoke with York Area Regional Police over the phone on Wednesday, they said they had not yet realized that the suspect descriptions were so similar. Detectives will now be investigating a possible connection. '

The attempted abductions and suspect descriptions so far are:

Aug 16th: Red Lion, York Cnty. Possible attempted abduction, police say.

Aug 14th: Red Lion, York Cnty. 13 yr old victim. Dark red/ maroon work van. Blond driver. Dark haired male passenger, with goatee.

July: Landisburg, Perry Cnty. Group of kids victims. Maroon van. Blonde woman. Dark haired male.

Early July: Middlesex Twp, Cumberland Cnty. Young female victim with brother. Maroon van. Blonde and dark haired duo.

'The van was described as a 90s model Astro van, maroon in color with tinted windows. The driver was described as a white man, around 30 years old, and of average height and build. The children said he had short dark hair.'

'The woman was described as white, around 30 years old, of average height, and build with shoulder length, curly or wavy blonde hair.'
