Kern County Sheriff's officials say 38-year-old Robert Limon was found at an industrial complex on Goodrick Drive in Tehachapi. Limon, of Helendale, was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was last seen by co-workers at about 5 p.m. as he left the field to return to the shop. Evidence indicates Limon was assaulted by a suspect or suspects inside the shop shortly after arriving...

The sheriff's office said Tuesday that BNSF is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Just read through the FB memorial page. He was a great guy with so many friends. Appears to be a happy family man. Could he have been involved in something bad or was this a robbery gone wrong?. Was there an employee that had been sacked and blamed him? Interested to see how this pans out.

The Burlington Northern-Santa Fe employee was shot to death in a maintenance shop, and Kern County Sheriff's detectives are investigating with assistance from railroad police.

"There's always the possibility that he may have interrupted a burglary or a theft in progress at the shop or on the property," sheriff's spokesman Ray Pruitt told Eyewitness News on Thursday. "That's one of the scenarios we're looking at"...

That complex houses a number of vintage airplane restoration shops.

The surveillance video is from 6pm and Limon's body was found about 45 minutes later.

Kern County Sheriff’s deputies announced Wednesday that they arrested a Hesperia man and a Helendale woman in connection to death of the woman’s husband, a BNSF employee who was found dead hours after ending a work shift in Tehachapi on Aug. 17.

Kern County Sheriff’s spokesman Ray Pruitt said 35-year-old Sabrina Limon was arrested Wednesday along with 24-year-old Jonathan Michael Hearn on suspicion of Robert Limon’s murder.

After months of investigation, detectives believe that Sabrina Limon and Hearn were having an affair and conspired to murder Robert Limon. Pruitt said the investigation led to “hundreds of leads” by witnesses and tips from the public.

Sheesh. She really played up the victim didn't she? Poor kids. With a mom like that, I wonder what her family is like??!! Scary how cold people can be.

From the article, lots of "Christianity" being thrown around, wonder if they met in church:

While attending Arrow Christian High School, Hearn concurrently attended Victor Valley College, where he received his EMT National registry and graduated from the Firefighter I Academy. - See more at: http://www.vvdailypress.com/article/20141119/NEWS/141119779/-1/s#sthash.e9037hQz.dpuf

Detectives learned during the investigation that Hearn had developed a relationship with Robert Limon’s wife, 35-year-old Limon, prior to his death.

As a result of the investigation, detectives were able to develop probable cause that Hearn was responsible for shooting and killing Limon. Detectives said they also developed probable cause that Sabrina Limon conspired with Hearn in the murder of her husband.

This broke my heart.

I don't know the Limon's directly, but a friend of a friend kind of thing on Facebook. Never saw that coming, what a horrific betrayal.

Court appearance's today at 3:00 PM.

Can we move this thread to the waiting for trial section? I'd like to follow the case.

BTW, Kern County used to have criminal case info available online. When I looked yesterday, they removed that privilege, bummer!

UNBELIEVABLE how deceptive and cold a person/wife/mother can be

IMHO this woman has to be a psychopath to be able to do what she has apparently done.

3 weeks later, Sep 9th, 2014 his now arrested wife, Sabrina SanMillan Limon, suspected of the murder along with her lover, posted this:

Words can not being to express my thankful heart. Robert showed his love, compassion, hardworking skills, and genuine kindness to everyone he met. Through this pain and unbelievable tragedy, Robs love continues on. The love and kindness given back to me and OUR kid's has been overwhelming. We THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for acts of random kindness that has been shown to us. Flowers. Gifts. Hugs. Food. All of the love love that has come to us has been such a BEAUTIFUL tribute to the AMAZING man Robert was and will never be forgotten. As i express my gratitude, I become more deeply aware of it. And feel the need to express it. The key to happiness in life is love and be loved. God blessed US with Rob for the time he did,and the love he gave was more than some ever will feel or show. I will never let Robs love die or fade out. I will carry it with me where ever i go, and remind our children of it daily as they grow.
~It is better to give and receive.
ACTS 20:35
We received something wonderful from Rob Limons life and the effects are truly overwhelming. It's a feeling of joy, yet I'm totally numb to the fact that I'm left on earth now without him. I look towards God and the beautiful sky HE painted with colors that fill my heart with hope to see Rob again some day.
Rob is a real example of how short life is and how fast it can be over. It's what we're remembered by is up to each of us daily.
Thank you ALL for being a part of our life and our love!
God bless.
Love, Sabrina, Robbie & LeAnna Limon

It makes me sick to read this knowing that she is now a suspect, along with her lover, of murdering her husband and father of her two children !

Redlands firefighter and his alleged lover are expected to appear in court Thursday to face murder and conspiracy charges in the death of her husband in a suspected love triangle.

Redlands Firefighter Jonathan Michael Hearn, 24, of Hesperia and Sabrina Limon, 35, of Helendale, were taken into custody Tuesday. Authorities say they conspired to kill her husband, Robert Limon.

Limon was found dead Aug. 17 inside a BNSF Railway shop in the 1500 block of Goodrick Drive in Tehachapi. The railway worker had been shot multiple times in the upper torso, said Ray Pruitt, spokesman for the Kern County Sheriff's Department.

During the initial stages of the three-month-long investigation, Hearn was not a suspect and his name never came up, Pruitt said.
But as detectives investigated hundreds of leads, they learned that Hearn and Sabrina Limon were in a relationship that lasted several months after her husband's death.

Details about how detectives were able to link Sabrina Limon and Hearn to her husband's death were not revealed, but Pruitt said they had "probable cause."

The person who set up the Go Fund Me site, was a good friend of the Limon's. She has many pictures of them on her page. Not going to say her name, but I wonder how she is feeling right now about Sabrina. Can't imagine ...

RSBM Wow. Just wow. Psychopath. I too feel sick, knowing she wrote that days after he died and SHE DID IT! Icky.

Unfortunately, a lot of these friends will probably stand by the killer as a "good Christian woman". We see it over and over again.

BAKERSFIELD, CA. - The District Attorney's Office has chosen not to pursue charges against the wife of murdered BNSF railway worker Robert Limon.

Sabrina Limon was not in court because charges against her were rejected, citing not enough evidence, according to the DA's office.

Jonathan Hearn, 24, was charged with first degree murder with special circumstances and could face the death penalty if convicted, according to Deputy DA Esther Schlaerth.

So what the heck? They arrested her, but the DA is declining to press charges? That Detective who was interviewed yesterday seemed very confident in his case against her.

Oh no, don't let someone get away with it! Maybe he will turn on her (if he's not still "in love").

My daughter lives there and all the media used her pictures on their newscasts when the arrests were made. One Bakersfield station at least contacted her for permission to use them. Not sure what she decided since all the LA media took them off FB and used them without asking. Lots of heartbroken people there that were and are devastated over Rob's murder.

Two children are the real victims here and many don't know what to think. Hard to believe that Hearn would know where Rob was working that day since that wasn't where he normally worked. He took a shift for another guy that day in Tehachapi. He worked for BNSF in Barstow.
