Woman used child's scooter as getaway vehicle in thefts

A Dunedin, New Zealand woman stole cash and goods from a restaurant and store, then used a child's scooter as her 'getaway vehicle'.

Police outflanked her in the technology as well as vehicle stakes though, sending cctv pics out via their phones to searchers, and quickly making an arrest.

'Within a very short period of time a 31-year-old Dunedin woman was taken into custody for the offending," Mr Scott said.'

Nobody was injured in the robberies.

Oh my gosh. I was looking to see if there were any pictures of the scooter. This isn't connected, but just look at what happened to this guy on his motorized scooter!

Why didn't someone stop him trying to ride away? He was obviously hurt and in shock. You have to watch to the end or you won't see what I mean.

OMG!! He could not ride that bike for nutz, probably wasn't even his. He was so persistent though and the ending, haha, i hope he wasn't seriously hurt. :facepalm:
