Just hours after Hutchinson's body was found in woods near a Southside apartment complex Monday afternoon, Latosha Marks was arrested and charged with murder. They both lived at the Southwind Villas complex with a foster family.

Marks was adjudicated as an adult, charged with first-degree murder and sentenced to seven years in prison as part of a plea deal in which she pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

Griffin was charged as a juvenile with accessory after the fact, got adjudicated as a delinquent and was committed to a high-risk juvenile facility for an undetermined length of time. No information was available on why or when he was released.
