Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

Her family has searched several areas in and around the Johnsonville and Pamplico communities in recent days. Kelly said every time they call Gamble's two cell phones they go straight to voice mail...

Kelly said her son was with his cousin Larry Coles Wednesday.

Deputies arrested Coles, 31, Saturday morning following a two-day manhunt. Florence County Sheriff's Major Michael Nunn said when deputies stopped a car Coles was riding inFriday morning, he ran out into the woods near Pamplico.

Family of missing man pleads for people to come forward
JOHSONVILLE, SC (WMBF) - After months without any answers, the friends and family of Julius Gamble met Saturday to beg for whatever help they could get. Gamble went missing last August. His friends say he was last seen in Johnsonville. Since then, several different county and state agencies have aided in the search, but Gamble is nowhere to be found.

The Florence county Sheriff's Office says it has tried everything from checking tips, and canvasing the ground, to even speaking with psychics. "We have left no stone unturned when it comes to this case,” said Mike Nunn, with the Sheriff's Office.

Gamble's friends and family made it clear that they believe someone knows something, and it's their turn to talk.

“You've got to practically beg somebody to say something?" Asked Harriett Kelly, Gamble's mother. “You shouldn't have to beg nobody [sic] to say nothing [sic] because you know what? God's gonna [sic] speak for himself.”

A Johnsonville family still searches for closure after putting up a billboard of 23-year-old Julius Gamble who disappeared August 28, 2014...

The billboard and $25,000 reward is a plea the family hopes will lead to their loved one...

Major Mike Nunn with Florence County Sherriff’s Office says there have been hundreds of dollars and man hours spent in an attempt to locate Gamble over the past year and so far there is one person of interest, in the disappearance of Julius Gamble, his cousin Larry Coles.
