Last week, Bruce Sullivan posted on his Facebook page asking for friends and family to send birthday cards for his daughter Hannah.

Three days after his public call-out, the loving dad was thrilled to update his Facebook family that they had received hundreds of cards and gifts for Hannah.

Queensland dad gives daughter unforgettable 18th birthday after simple Facebook appeal

A Queensland dad has given his daughter an unforgettable 18th birthday party after writing a Facebook call-out for messages of love and encouragement.

Hannah Sullivan received thousands of gifts and messages at the surprise party, including a special video recording from the Wiggles and a present from her favourite band One Direction.

Hannah was shocked when she walked out this morning to find envelopes scattered across the floor and her home decorated with pink balloons her favourite colour.
