Presumed Located MI - Amber Smith, 29, Detroit, 13 Aug 2014

Detroit — Police are asking the public’s help in locating a woman who went missing in mid-August. According to the Detroit Police Department, Amber M. Smith, 29, was last seen by her husband in their home in the 5500 block of Radnor. Smith is described as a having a history of drug use and is described as bipolar and schizophrenic. According to police, she had not taken her medicine for three weeks before her disappearance.

A missing Detroit woman’s husband believes a neighborhood “drug lord” may have been responsible for the disappearance of his wife who hasn’t been seen since Aug. 13. Dennis Gentz said there has been a neighborhood drug lord terrorizing them and he thinks that man either snatched his wife or murdered her. Smith is bipolar and schizophrenic and had not taken her medication for almost three weeks prior to her disappearance, according to police. Gentz said he grew concerned when he discovered she had left her keys and purse behind.

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police are searching for a missing 29 year old Amber M. Smithwoman who was last seen on August 13th, 2014.

Amber M. Smith suffers from being Bipolar and Schizophrenic. She had not taken her medication for almost 3 weeks prior to being missing.

Amber was last seen by her husband at their home in the 5500 block Radnor at noon on August 13th.

Other Information: She has a flower tattoo on the lower part of her back. Amber Smith also has a history of heroin and crack use.

On August 13, 2014, Amber talked about going to her mother's house in Warren, MI. On August 14, 2014, her husband left the house approx. 0800 hours and Amber was in bed and said she would wait until he got back to go anywhere. When he returned at approx. 1030 hours, the door was open and Amber was gone. On September 10, 2014 at 1930 hours, her husband spotted Amber on Barret St. and went to talk to her. A grey car pulled up and took her away.
