GA - Danny Zeitz, 28, killed in Craigslist robbery, Sandy Springs, 12 Sept 2014
A man is dead after he tried to sell a gaming system on Craigslist. Two suspects are charged with his murder, including a 16-year-old girl who police said pulled the trigger. Sandy Springs police said Danny Zeitz, 28, died from a gunshot wound after the suspects tried to steal his PlayStation 4...
Police said Nathaniel Vivan, 20, and his 16-year-old girlfriend went on Craigslist to find a game system for sale so they could rob it from the seller. They agreed to meet Zeitz in a neighboring parking lot in his apartment complex Friday night.
When they met, police said Vivan tried to grab the PlayStation from Zeitz, who fought back. That's when they say the 16-year-old fired a .25 caliber handgun... Police said the bullet went through Vivan's hand, out of the car, and into Zeitz who was standing outside the driver's side door. Police said Vivan went to Northside Hospital and told doctors that he was the victim of a crime in Brookhaven.
Zeitz was known by the name “Phobos” in online gaming circles, and one of his online gaming teammates set up a page to raise money for Zeitz’s funeral expenses. By Monday afternoon, the page had raised more than $10,000.
Police said they were able to track down the suspects after Northside Hospital called them to say Vivian was being treated for a gunshot wound at the hospital.

Thanks for posting this, OkieGranny. This is my BIL's cousin who was killed. The Zeitz family overall are just such wonderful people, just a big close family like the one I grew up in. This was so senseless! I'll be following the trial if anyone wants to follow along with me. I didn't know Danny personally but I know so many of his aunts, uncles, and cousins, and I'm just heartbroken for all of them.
This is Danny's FB. There's not a ton there, but maybe it gives a little better sense of who he was.

Kayla Dixon, age 16, sat calmly as Fulton County Superior Court Judge Karen Smith Woodson denied her bail and ruled that she will be tried as an adult in the killing of a man over a video gaming system that the victim had advertised for sale on Craigslist. “The court is not inclined to grant bond,” Woodson said. “She poses a significant set of danger to herself and the community”...
David Lapides said Dixon and Vivian used their cellphones to coordinate the robbery and their computers to plot how to do it. “There were numerous text messages between Dixon and Vivian discussing plans to rob someone,” Lapides said...
“Detectives also learned that the juvenile’s infant child, approximately 16 months, was in the back seat of the car during the robbery and shooting,” he said.

Nathaniel Vivian was found guilty last month.
Prosecutors say a 22-year-old Atlanta man will now spend life in prison for his involvement in the fatal shooting of another man over a PlayStation 4.
The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office say Nathaniel Vivian was found guilty Wednesday of murder, felony murder, armed robbery and other charges in the 2014 death of 28-year-old Daniel Zeitz.
