AZ - Amber Paulter, 14, Glendale, 19 September 2014
“Initial investigation has revealed that the missing girl, Amber Paulter of Peoria, was at a friend’s house in the area visiting when she walked to the park, telling her friend that her parents were going to pick her up there. The parents in fact were not supposed to pick her up from the park, and that was the last time and location that she was seen. Amber has no history of this type of activity, and it is out of character for her,” O’Neill stated in a release.
“Amber was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt with an unknown character on it and white shorts. She is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, 100 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes,” O’Neill continued.
Glendale Police are looking for a missing 14-year-old Peoria girl who was last seen Friday night.
Amber Paulter was last seen at a park near the 7000 block of W. Hillcrest Blvd in Glendale.

Sounds fairly bad. I wouldn't be surprised if she was suppose to meet some mysterious "teen" she met online.

Yep, that's what I was thinking, but I wouldn't mind being wrong.

I agree. That is a pretty nice area with lower crime. My sister lives close to this area.

Anyone have Amber's Date of Birth? Can't find a Facebook acct for her, other than this:
Hope they find her soon"The Greek word moira (μοῖρα) literally means a part or portion, and by extension one's portion in life or destiny.
They controlled the metaphorical thread of life of every mortal from birth to death."

Unsure on actual birthdate, but on Dad's FB comments (really cute picture of the two of them) he says she just turned 14 in June:
I wonder if someone called her and told her she was supposed to meet her parents at the park - knowing that they could then "grab" her there? Ugh. Every scenario I can think of is a bad one

LE got a call from OUT OF STATE saying she is fine and it appears voluntary.
But keep reading below the first snippet...
The department was contacted at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday from an out-of-state acquaintance with information that Paulter was unharmed.
"Amber is safe and unharmed and at this time appears to have left the area voluntarily," the police report stated.
Why even release that she's safe if things are this "preliminary" and she's NOT yet reunited and releasing information could jeopardize her safe reunion with her family?
If she was with LE, her location being released wouldn't jeopardize a safe reunion with her family.
If she was in protective custody with CPS (or something like that for some reason) her location being released still shouldn't jeopardize a safe reunion with her family.
If she was with some other extended relatives or known friends somewhere, again, how would that mean she'd not be safely reunited with her family if her location (or that information) was released?
If she called (on her own) and said she was safe but if info was given out she'd not reunite with her family or something, again, would LE even believe that without actually seeing her?
She could have been forced to say it (if this scenario were the case) and besides, if it's in media (and on her dad's FB) that she's safe.
Moreso, that whole scenario still seems unlikely b/c why would they risk spooking her if she herself called? They don't think she'd see (or hear) that it's on her dad's FB that she's safe and in media?
They MUST have had physical contact to determine she's ok, wouldn't they?
But it almost sounds like they've been told by whomever called that they'll bring her back or release her to her parents IF it's not made public...but LE isn't going to just go along with that surely.
So then I go back to thinking SHE may have been the call (and may have also called her dad?) but again, then why even risk saying anything publicly until she IS with family or LE or somewhere... If she left voluntarily once then what's to say she wouldn't just do it again?
What am I missing?
"Because the exact details are very preliminary and Amber has yet to be reunited with her family, we will not be disclosing the exact location that she was found at this time. Doing so may jeopardize her being safely reunited with her family."

A missing 14-year-old girl has been located out of state and is safe, according to Glendale police...
"Working with law enforcement in that (out-of-state) jurisdiction, we have confirmed the person located is in fact Amber Paulter, the 14-year-old Peoria resident who had been reported missing Friday. Amber is safe and unharmed, and at this time appears to have left the area voluntarily," O'Neill's statement continued.
