Miami-Dade Police arrested 30-year-old Marvin Rivera-Montalvo in the death of 51-year-old Yolanda Samaniego who was found burned and decapitated on Wednesday morning.

Investigators say Rivera-Montalvo contacted police claiming he has information on the death and stated that Samaniego's husband killed her.

On Saturday morning, police continued to interview Rivera-Montalvo where he confessed that he planned on killing Samaniego with other individuals who have not been identified.

Police said Rivera-Montalvo told them he lured her to his vehicle on the evening of September 13th and another person shot her. He later went to dump her in an open field located at N.W. 64th Street and N.W. 82nd Avenue the same night.

On September 17th, police said, he drove back to the field and lit her corpse on fire. Later that day, officials discovered her body after receiving a call about a brush fire in the area...

Police said they have not confirmed a motive. They are not looking for any other subjects.
