GA - Lisa Pynn, 32, murdered, 3 women raped, Chatham County, 2013 & 2014
Lisa Pynn was found dead inside her home near Savannah in January -- just two months after the next-door neighbor suspect in her murder was released from prison.
An indictment, which was handed down Wednesday, says that Torrey Scott strangled Pynn with his own hands -- he also is accused of raping the 32-year-old mother and stealing several weapons from the home.
Lisa Pynn, 33, was strangled to death in the master bedroom of her home on Port Wentworth's Flox Glenn Court in January, one month after the attacks at Savannah State and one month before a woman was kidnapped and raped outside Candler Hospital.
Pynn's husband was deployed in Afghanistan when she was killed. She left behind a six-year-old son, who discovered his mother dead.
The man charged with raping three women and raping and murdering another, all in Chatham County, will be in court Monday.
Torrey Scott is charged in connection with four separate attacks, all within three months of each other.
Scott is charged with raping and assaulting two Savannah State students in December 2013, and he's accused of raping and murdering his Port Wentworth neighbor, Lisa Pynn, in January 2014. Scott has also been charged with kidnapping and raping a pregnant woman from the Candler Hospital parking lot in February 2014 as she arrived for work.

From September 2015:
Torrey Scott faces 28 total charges, including 3 counts of rape, false imprisonment, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual assault, malice and felony murder...
But in court Wednesday, prosecutors asked for that to be delayed. They say one of the victims, and a witness they want to testify against Scott, is having medical complications and being on the stand could affect her health or that of her unborn child...
In the end the Judge Penny Freesman agreed to prosecutors motion to delay the trial. No new date has been set, but its possible a jury may not be seated until January.
