OR - John Ambrosini, 59, Roseburg, 26 Sept 2014
John Ambrosini, 59, of Coos Bay, left his home on Friday to go for a motorcycle ride to the Roseburg area and was to return later that evening. He last spoke to family by phone at about 2 p.m. that day. His family reported him missing on Sunday and, based on cell phone records, it is believed that he made it to Roseburg on Friday. He has not been seen or heard from since that time.
Ambrosini is described as 6 feet tall, 185 pounds, with gray and black hair and beard. He has tattoo sleeves on both arms and a skull tattoo on the front of his left leg. He was last seen wearing a dark color hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and motorcycle riding leathers.
He was riding a 2008 black Harley Davidson motorcycle with black saddle bags, Oregon license plate M693784.

All the other articles I just read say the same thing. What is the terrain like in the area where he was supposed to have gone? Could he have gone off the road and be injured down in a ravine? When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained.

It's pretty rugged and wooded most of the way, according to Google Maps. Down a ravine or into a creek, good possibilities. Or maybe someone wanted his Harley?
It's been five days since friends and family have heard from 59-year old John Ambrosini, and Douglas County deputies are asking for help in finding the missing Coos Bay man...
"Based on the cell phone records he was in Roseburg, but that's not a lot to go on,” Douglas County Sheriff’s Office public information officer Dwes Hutsen said. “His intent apparently was to go for ride and return home later in the day on Friday. So the obvious things, like checking the main highways, have not yielded any information."

Oregon State Police identified the victim as 59-year-old John Joseph Ambrosini on Friday...
On Thursday afternoon, OSP received information of a male lying next to a motorcycle off an embankment along the north side of Highway 38, about 12 miles east of Reedsport. When emergency responders arrived, they determined Ambrosini was dead.
The investigation showed he was westbound on the highway when he failed to negotiate a right curve and went off the road and down about 30 feet to the base of an embankment and struck a tree.
