The Rules

Guys, the boyfriend has not been named a suspect or a person of interest, so please don't sleuth him or post his social media.

Also, at this point he is considered a victim and we are victim friendly place, please post accordingly.

Victim Friendly

Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way and ONLY IF IT IS RELEVANT TO THE CASE. Additionally, sleuthing family members or others that are not suspect is not allowed. Don't make random accusations or post personal information (even if it is public) like parking tickets, address, or first and last names of all their relatives and their neighbors. Also, never "bash" or attack them, or accuse them of involvement. However that does not mean that family members or others cannot come into discussion as the facts and issues of the case are discussed.

Please leave rumors out of the discussion as they tend to grow legs.

Thank you all and welcome all new members!

Facebook

Social Networks

Regarding Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and other social networking or blog websites: Links may be used to direct posters to view something on a social networking page. But postings on social networking sites are not considered fact; they are rumor. Copying and pasting, or taking screen caps, directly from these pages is not allowed. Paraphrasing is okay. (Exception: If the Twitter or Facebook post belongs to a verified news station, it may be copied. But a link should still be provided.)

Also, social networking pages may only be linked if they are directly related to a case, i.e. the victim or suspect. We don't want to post to someone's mother, brother, employer, milkman, or postal carrier just because they know the main player. We also NEVER link to minor's pages (unless they are the victim). And be sure that the page actually belongs to the person being discussed. Do not link to someone if you are not 100% sure it is the correct person. And if a social networking is set to private and you get in the back way, you may not post what you find. Private means private!

and Round 8 - how do you get a post from another thread here? I'm interested in Sal's question.

It is really sad to hear that only 8-10ppl total were at the shops garage last night.
Like someone had already posted on thread 7 ..that in order to re-energize the force of the citizens for help and financial support efforts,
PPD is going to have to release some more details and information.. I am old ..and I can not tell you what
I had for dinner 2 weeks ago much less 4.

I agree, this is sad.. But exactly what I assumed would be the scenario. I walked by at 6:30pm and didn't really see any signs of anyone there wearing Christina shirts. Can't say I looked too hard either. To the person in thread 7... I can't find it, who said they went but there were unsavory characters on top of the parking garage.. Can you go into alittle more detail? We're they just "" looking... Didn't look like they belong? I think This case has exhausted me! IMO the lack of people at the vigil last night is totally to blame on the lack of any leads have been made it this case. If you look at the hush hush-ness of CM's friends, and PPD... Everyone has lost interest because well, we are given absolutely NOTHING. This girl does not want to be found. Which I find entirely sad.. I still keep going back to the comment her brother made about her "going off grid before".

Her brothers comment keeps popping in my head too, not so much "she's gone off the grid before", but "it feels different this time." What does he mean by that? Just odd.

I think she walked out of that garage.
she was upset her BF would not answer her calls.
I still think he broke up with her but that's just MO
To me it explains him not answering her calls
not reporting her missing.

I think there is a lot to this story WE here at WS do not know.
Maybe he left the apartment till she got her things out...this would explain going to get her dog..

I don't think she just took off to teach anyone a lesson.
But I do think at the time she was upset about BF and maybe did something to harm herself.

I think LE might know what happened to her but need to find her.
Someone will find her.

Maybe she has family elsewhere we haven't thought about. Some people she's close enough to, to go visit for a bit.

And hide from her family?
And allow searches to continue?

She could be up to her eye balls in legal trouble. With PPD and TES using their resources to try and locate her.

Question for the poster who went to/around the prayer vigil last night: Was the bf there? I'm just curious

I'm not trying to be an annoying picky pest, but I believe the brother's quote was "off the radar" and not "off the grid."
When we say off the grid that's like living out in the boondocks with no electricity and city plumbing, but off the radar could just be holed up at a friend's house and not answering calls so people have no clue where you are.
Small difference, but then big difference. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

JMO-- If in fact truth is brought out that it is case of "walking away and not wanting to be found" I feel for everyone that has put their hearts, emotions and wallets out to help. There are so many compassionate people that feel the call to help in times of dire need.
I can only hope, that if someone out there knows the truth ..to step forward and put an end to the unanswered questions.

Well personally, I think that if they DID break up that night, her boyfriend was a moron for not divulging that info to LE and the world from the get-go! If he had said (FOUR days after her disappearance) "To be honest, I didn't know her whereabouts because we'd had a falling out on Friday and I broke off our relationship. She was pretty upset and went out with friends, and so did I. She was texting and calling me nonstop and finally I just shut my phone off because I couldn't deal with the drama. When she wasn't back at the house I figured she [was still with friends, went to visit her mom, was hanging out at the lake----insert his idea here] and I wasn't about to call her friends and family to ask because since we just broke up I figured they'd think I was a douchebag."

If he'd said something like that I'd feel better about him, honestly. But all reports say it was just a little argument and no one says they broke up.
