    IN - Lillian Ploughe, 9, Elwood, 1 October 2014

    Lillian Ploughe and Sabrina Cline

Elwood police searching for missing girl
ELWOOD, Ind. - Police in Elwood are searching for a girl who may have been taken by her non-custodial mother. Lillian Ploughe was last seen at her school, possibly wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and red and black tennis shoes. Lillian's grandmother, who has custody of the girl, told police the child's mother, Sabrina Cline, picked Lillian up at school, telling school officials the girl had a doctor's appointment. The grandmother says Cline lives with her and believes she may be waiting on a ride to take Lillian out of state. Police issued a warrant for Cline on a misdemeanor of interference with custody. The police chief says investigators do not believe the girl is in danger, but want to find Cline to learn her intentions.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

So that picture above must be the grandmother. Sabrina looks young to me, which may be why she doesn't have custody. She may be unable to care for her daughter, but isn't a danger. So she lives with her but doesn't have full parental rights. JMO

Sabrina has a relative in LA...maybe her sister? This relative and Lillian look very similar IMO. Hopefully that's where she's headed and her sister will get them back home to IN safely.
