During the State Police investigation into Mrs. Farley’s disappearance, information was developed that led them to believe her disappearance was the result of foul play and that her husband was somehow involved.
Friday, troopers from the Beckley and Princeton State Police detachments, assisted by members of the WVSP BCI, located the body of a female believed to be that of Lynnette Denise Farley buried in a shallow grave at a location off of Egeria Road, near the Mercer and Raleigh County border.
Johnnie Ray Farley was charged with first degree murder. He will be housed in the Southern Regional Jail pending his arraignment.
