Trial start was pushed back to tomorrow, Oct. 7

"Jury selection in the trial of a Grosse Pointe Park man accused in the murder of his wife was pushed back to Tuesday because of baseball playoff fever.
Wayne County Circuit Judge Vonda Evans decided to push back the start of Bob Bashara's trial, in part, because of the possibility of a Tigers game Monday in Detroit."

If I were a prospective juror (I don't live in Wayne County), the most difficult aspect of this trial would be hearing testimony related to Bob's perverted sexual proclivities :blushing: I think that I might be better equipped to listen to gory details of a brutal slaying than what will surely be gross, disgusting behaviors in BB's alternative lifestyle. :moo:

Judge Evans denying media request that we be given the questionnaire

She does not want the questions to be revealed in the media and possibly impact witnesses in the case. She says it is four pages - 30 questions - that prospective jurors will fill out.

There are 150 prospective jurors - 50 in each lot.

Judge - obviously the questions are not tailored to what the attorneys may want - this is just the introduction to getting information. What's not covered here will be able to be covered in depth by your own exam.
Prosecutor Lisa Lindsey wants some of the questions deleted - one of the questions deleted regarding a death of a spouse - she doesn't want questions about physical violence included - saying there is no actual "physical violence" alleged.
Questions 15 and 21 will be taken out.

Not an issue listening to as predatory killing is (&*(*&(*&)(* to me moreso. On another trial, we had a poster from the BDSM community posting... was it this thread wayyyyyyyy back or another. Anyway, she gave good comentary and wish she was posting as was great insight into that lifestyle.

Picking my brain trying to remember who that was..... :thinking:

She was a great poster and very knowledgeable. She helped out a lot with cases where we didn't understand the culture of that lifestyle.

Haven't been here for a while. Life got hectic. But I can't wait for openings. I want to hear what his defense is going to be, in detail. Thank goodness for Tweeters, but I can't understand why there is no live stream. We've seen everything else.
