Two silent gunmen in black clothing shoot two on East Side

Another shooting by unknown suspects on Hays Street

A man was hospitalized Monday night after being shot on the East Side.

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Hays Street, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The man had been walking south on New Braunfels Avenue at Hays Street when unknown suspects opened fire on him.

A similar shooting happened in the same location Oct. 2.

Cory Baker, 21, and Courtney Baker, 18, had both been walking in the 1300 block of Hays Street around 2 a.m. when two unknown gunmen approached them and opened fire without saying a word.

The suspects took off after wounding both victims.
