During the trial, Chora told the judge that he had provided EAL with a great deal of money because of a criminal lifestyle. July 11 LE conclude search at southeast Calgary landfill and focus their efforts on an acreage north of the city and the Spyhill Landfill site. Also have a tactical unit at the Airdrie acreage to deal with dangerous and flammable chemicals that were found on the property. Asking people/businesses/oil companies in the Airdrie and Parkhill/Stanley Park areas to check their properties for absolutely anything out of the ordinary.
July 11 Members of Liknes family confirm in the media that beef between AL and DG was over patent filed years ago by AL; family says it was AL's invention

July 14 1:30 am DG re-arrested in the early morning hours near his parents’ farm in Airdrie.

DG asks judge "I live on a farm, sometimes working past 9 o'clock, would residence be on the farm itself?" The judge reminds him he won't be going to the farm but to some form of transitional housing.

Thank you otto for posting that google earth map showing the location of the house, camera, and the truck caught on the camera.. maybe my bearings are wrong, but I am getting that the truck is travelling on a curve going in the opposite direction of what you have indicated on the map, in relation to the location of the camera and the curve in the road? (see attached). I am definitely directionally challenged, so just my own directionally challenged viewpoint. Can anyone help?

You are right Deugirtni! The road definitely has a slight curve to it. Wonder if that's a different CCTV camera that picked the photo you're referencing up...perhaps nowhere near the crime scene? Can the parked white car be verified I wonder as being a resident in a house on that road that Otto has indicated in his photo? I know it could simply be a random vehicle but maybe it's always parked around there? I'm not sure it's going in the opposite direction, may have been just taken at a different angle than how the google map is situated.

I was reading that same article last night. I was doing the math for the jail release which would have been in January. Also interesting is that his former employers who he kept at gunpoint were dentists. So he was possibly a hygenist or dentist.

Is it just me or does it take a level of 'comfort' of maybe just balls (sorry) to stand outside of a murder scene probably covered in blood (unless clothing was changed which is possible as when DG was busted for B&E's in the past he had a change of clothes with him) and hose down a sidewalk of blood not knowing who will walk by, presumably not knowing the neighbor right beside the sidewalk isn't living there, not to mention a water spray isn't loud, but it's also not quiet (so making *some* level of noise) and drawing attention to the scene.

If you look at the photos posted yesterday by I believe LoriMcA, there are a couple, or at least one, in which I can see something that looks similar to that unfinished wooden two-way stairway.... I believe it is over further toward the vacant house. I was thinking that might make sense, since the foundation of the home pictured is textured in a way that I don't believe it is the L house. We see it in the pics LoriMcA posted from the opposite direction than in the photo above, and we can see the photographer is photographing something away from the house in the picture. I believe therefore, unless my bearings are off, that the photographer fellow was on the OTHER side of the fence, on the other side of the lawn, away from the liknes house, and beside the neighbouring house. If anyone isn't getting what I'm saying, please let me know and I'll try to explain better.
