GUILTY MI - Amiracle Williams, 3, dead, three injured in Detroit shooting, 16 Oct 2014

A man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of Amiracle Williams, a 3-year-old fatally shot last week in Detroit during a fight that reportedly started with a dispute on Facebook...

Police say the shooting happened after several young women began physically fighting over an argument on social media outside the east side residence where Amiricle lived with her family.

Amiracle's father believed his daughters were in danger and shot one of the people at the scene, police said Friday. Then, another man opened fire with a machine gun, striking Amiracle, her mother, father, and 17-year-old sister. Two police officers took Amiracle to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Lashay Davis is being called a person of interest in the shooting Friday which killed Amiracle and injured three of her family members.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward to anyone with information about Davis' whereabouts...

Amiracle was caught in the crossfire of gunfire when it erupted outside her family's home on Mogul Street. Amiracle's 47-year-old father, Demetrius Williams, 40-year-old mother, Frieda Tiggs, and 17-year-old pregnant sister, Tkira Steen, were also hit by gunfire.

On Friday in court, Amiracle's family spoke to her killer right before he was sent to prison... Moments later, the judge sentenced Donnie Everett to 43-to-60 years behind bars for second degree murder.

Everett then spoke the victim's family, saying he's sorry Amiracle died, but claiming he had no choice but to open fire. "Everybody walks around with guns in the city of Detroit," Everett said. "If you don't, you're a victim."
