Glad LE are receiving counseling, it must have been a horrible sight.

    http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2.../22020631.html

"In his 14 years as an officer, Hofley said he has never seen a case such as this.

Counseling is being provided by the Winnipeg Police Service for officers.

"Absolutely for all involved, whether it be the employees of the business or officers or emergency personnel, (it's) very disturbing, tragic. What the outcome is after the investigation is complete remains to be seen."

Turns out to be 6 infants:

"Winnipeg police have charged a 40-year-old woman after the remains of 6 babies were found inside a storage locker. Andrea Giesbrecht, who is also known as Andrea Naworynski, is charged with six counts of concealing the body of a child."

sounds like welfare fraud to me........MOO

    pregnancies + additional dependents = $$$

"Giesbrecht has also been charged with breach of probation in connection with court orders stemming from two fraud convictions in 2012."

If that's the case, then they will have a record of her live births. If so, then they would already know that the babies were hers -- and this would be a closed case. (Which perhaps it is.)

New article on Andrea Giesbrecht, the accused:

    http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manito...case-1.2810959

It would appear that a serious gambling addiction ($500 individual bets, often more than once in an evening) was a catalyst for her fraud charges and relationship issues, but it's unclear to me how it would have any relation to the dead babies in her storage locker.

    "'Nobody's going to believe her''

    http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/loc...ce=d-top-story

Her lawyer wants his own expert witness and has asked for videotaping of the forensics.

There are two posts guessing that the babies might be FN. Personally, I don't understand the assumption, and I don't think that there was any support in the thread for it.
