The Rules

Facebook

Social Networks

Regarding Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and other social networking or blog websites: Links may be used to direct posters to view something on a social networking page. But postings on social networking sites are not considered fact; they are rumor. Copying and pasting, or taking screen caps, directly from these pages is not allowed. Paraphrasing is okay. (Exception: If the Twitter or Facebook post belongs to a verified news station, it may be copied. But a link should still be provided.)

Also, social networking pages may only be linked if they are directly related to a case, i.e. the victim or suspect. We don't want to post to someone's mother, brother, employer, milkman, or postal carrier just because they know the main player. We also NEVER link to minor's pages (unless they are the victim). And be sure that the page actually belongs to the person being discussed. Do not link to someone if you are not 100% sure it is the correct person. And if a social networking is set to private and you get in the back way, you may not post what you find. Private means private!

Organized Efforts- Email Campaigns-Boycotts-Petitions:

Causes can be questionable in nature, even though they appear to be honorable on the surface. As it relates to using WS as a platform for promotion, the owners investigate the nature and source of such campaigns and make their own decisions as to the legitimacy of each cause. Please do not suggest, directly or indirectly, that members support any type of organized effort without getting approval from forum owners first.

Discussing Donations, Fundraising etc. is not allowed without the permission of the owners.

Victim Friendly

Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way and ONLY IF IT IS RELEVANT TO THE CASE. Additionally, sleuthing family members or others that are not suspect is not allowed. Don't make random accusations or post personal information (even if it is public) like parking tickets, address, or first and last names of all their relatives and their neighbors. Also, never "bash" or attack them, or accuse them of involvement. However that does not mean that family members or others cannot come into discussion as the facts and issues of the case are discussed.

"Now they're protesting in front of my house, asking for answers which I don't have. Everything I've said, I've told police. Everything I know I've told police," said Arochi.

Plano police spokesman Officer Dave Tilley told 48 Hours' Crimesider that Arochi has been questioned and is not believed to be involved. However, Tilley said no one has been ruled out

I have always found this part sad. It wasn't just the boyfriend who didn't notice she was missing...
Friends and family reportedly didn't realize she was missing until she didn't show up for work Sept. 2 after the Labor Day weekend.

I still can't get the videos to play. I went to DFW CBS site and the video is not working. Article is still up but not video.

Hopefully LE is reviewing all the interviews. Maybe that is why they were pulled.

I didn't realize that EA did interviews with several new stations, I thought it was only one.

I can get the NBC video interview now.

He did 3 separate interviews. CBS, NBC and FOX. Well, the family can't say he hasn't told them anything because it is coming straight from the horse's mouth from 3 (three) networks.

I heard that his attorney said that he has not taken a lie detector test.

It was posted early on that all the friends offered to take a lie detector and Police refused.

Makes no sense as to why many people (boyfriend included) would offer to take a lie detector test and the police say no.

Maybe that's why no one has been cleared yet.

Except he didn't say anything about that night that we all didn't already know. My guess is the family would like to know what she said, who she was texting, was she sober, was she upset, etc. I'm not saying he should lay all that out in a media interview but to her family at the very least he could try to help them a little. If we were in their shoes I'd like to think we'd all feel the same way.

EA is unlikely to know all that much, especially about her texting etc. Her female friends may have far more info as to her mood compared to usual. I do not think he knew her all that well. From the video clip, they were not even talking to each other or really interacting as far as I could see. Jmo

He walked with her for what, at least 20 minutes? They had to have had some conversation, one would think.

They need to ask Nickerson why she was upset. He's the one that said Christina was a little upset. I don't think EA knows. He was ready to go and she walked with him since they parked in the same garage.

Jonni said Christina wasn't a drinker. She didn't look drunk in the few seconds we see her. He said they partied. I think of partying a little bit like Going To Vegas? What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas! You don't want people going around blabbing what went on at so-and-so's party.
