http://www.cbs6albany.com/news/feat...e-highlight-40-year-old-cold-case-20691.shtmlPolice say that Sunday, November 2nd marks the 40th anniversary of a Cobleskill cold case.
Investigators say 17 year old Katherine Kolodziej, a co-ed who was attending her first semester at SUNY Cobleskill, disappeared during the early morning of November 2, 1974. A three week manhunt with multiple agencies resulted in the discovery of Kolodziej's body in a field in Richmondville on Thanksgiving day in 1974. Investigators say she suffered numerous stab wounds, murdered at an unknown location, and left in the field.

Her killer, Donald M. Sigsbee of Madison, New York, was only convicted a little over a decade ago by DNA. Sigsbee has since died. He is also a suspect of another unsolved 1974 murder, Katherine Kolodziej, another local unsolved murder but fruition is nigh impossible.
