GUILTY UT - Shawn Multine, 45, slain in his Cedar City home, 21 Oct 2014

Two additional suspects have been arrested in connection with the death of a Cedar City man who was shot Oct. 21 in an apparent homicide. One of the suspects has been identified as the victim’s stepdaughter.

Angelo Seth Carrasco, 34, was arrested the night the alleged homicide took place, identified by several eyewitnesses as the person who shot Shawn Leroy Multine, 45, at a home in the 575 North area of Cedar City. Carrasco was booked into the Iron County Jail on first-degree felony murder, aggravated assault and aggravated burglary charges in connection with the shooting.

Thursday night, officers additionally arrested Clarissa Bulletts, 18, and Eric Rodriguez, 29, following further investigation into the events surrounding Multine’s death.

During an interview Wednesday, Shana Multine said her brother and his wife had recently separated due to her alleged affair with Carrasco...

"This has been going on for quite a while. He kept going back. He wouldn't leave her and we begged him to come home," she said. "We were so worried that something bad was going to happen"...

Shana and Shawn Multine's sister's two children, ages 6 and 14, were in the home at the time of the incident and allegedly witnessed the shooting... The two children, who Shana Multine said were in shock, were taken to the hospital for observation and released shortly thereafter.

Angelo Carrasco took a plea deal and pleaded guilty to first-degree felony aggravated murder at a Dec. 15 court hearing...

A pre-sentencing investigation has been ordered by the court, with a two-day sentencing hearing set for April 2016.

A Cedar City woman who admitted to driving a car for two men accused of killing her stepfather has been sentenced to prison for manslaughter.

Clarissa Bulletts, 19, was sentenced Tuesday to concurrent terms of one to 15 years in prison for manslaughter and obstructing justice, second-degree felonies. She pleaded guilty to the charges in September. In exchange, a charge of murder, a first-degree felony, was dismissed.

Eric Albert Rodriguez, 31, pleaded guilty Tuesday in 5th District Court to first-degree felony murder for "aiding and abetting" the shooter in the slaying of 44-year-old Shawn Multine.

A Cedar City man was ordered to spend up to life in prison for killing his ex-girlfriend's stepfather in a conspiracy with the woman and another man.

Angelo Seth Carrasco, 36, was sentenced Friday to serve at least 25 years and possibly the rest of his life in prison for aggravated murder. He pleaded guilty in December to aggravated murder, a first-degree felony, for the death of Shawn Leroy Multine, 45.
