Pop singer Katie Melua heard a rustling in her ear after using earphones during a flight. When she went to the doctor, he found a live spider wriggling around in there.
Katie says she was freaked when she saw it under the microscope, but when it was finally out and skittering around a test tube, it wasn't frightening at all. She cheerfully uploaded videos and pics to her Instagram account.
And then just as cheerfully took her little arachnid home and set it free in her garden.
