Police say Danny Gallegos, 35, Braden Emerson, 23, and Levi Collins, 34, are all linked to the abandoned SUV found Monday near 1500 S. Redwood.

Homicide detectives connected three men to the vehicle...

Police are calling the situation suspicious due the amount of blood in the SUV and the location where the vehicle was found.

Gallegos is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 155 pounds. He has black hair and hazel eyes.

Emerson is described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 195 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Collins is also described as a white male. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 210 pounds, with blond hair and brown eyes.

I didn't find much except Danny's aka KIKO mom's page and she pretty much has the same info as the articles about them missing with the dog..

Also i noticed that neither Kiko's mom or fiance say anything about Braden being with them. They only mention Levi.

Initially, the vehicle had been reported to animal control authorities because of a dog left inside. Upon arrival, animal control officers found a significant amount of blood inside the SUV and referred the case to police. The dog was not injured...

Salt Lake City police Sgt. Robin Heiden said the vehicle was parked in a secluded area next to the Jordan River. "It started out suspicious and now is even more suspicious" because the three men are missing, she said.

Utah court records show that all three have criminal records.

Tuesday afternoon, police had located the owner of the vehicle. Heiden said it was not a stolen car, but could not release any other details about what the owner said happened to his car or if he had any connection to the missing men.

Extra officers were called to the scene to canvass the area along the river and to go to the nearby businesses to look at possible surveillance video, she said.

As of Tuesday, police had not found a victim either in the crime scene area or had anyone with an unexplained injury check in at a local hospital.

All three missing men have long criminal histories, according to Utah state court records.

Last night the news was playing in the background and this case came up. The anchor said LE stated that they were trying to confirm whether damage to the vehicle was a bullet hole. FWIW, I do not remember the station I was watching. Which leaves me without a link, sorry.

I can help you with that SuziQ! I also had that channel on last night & remember it being said.

The comment about the bullet holes is around the 1:10 min mark.

Thank you so much! Below is more info. I think the Tahoe was used to pull the trailer and atv's. I'm thinking the car owner or whoever borrowed the car would have to know what's going on. I feel these three will be found out by the Great Salt Lake, the West Dessert or Five Mile.

Family members said the three are all close friends and were reportedly going out Saturday to ride ATVs. As of Wednesday, family members said the trailer and ATVs they were using were also missing.

and

Family members do not know the owner of the vehicle that the blood was found in. Police say they have interviewed the car owner, but had not revealed as of Wednesday details about what the owner said or his explanation why his car was found in a field, whether he had loaned it to anyone or if he had any connection to the missing men.

Salt Lake City police are asking for the public’s help to track a Tahoe, trailer and ATV related to the disappearance of three men, who are presumed to be in danger.

Investigators believe Danny Gallegos, Braden Emerson and Levi Collins were driving a white Chevy Tahoe that was pulling a silver dual-axle trailer loaded with a green four-seat Arctic Cat. They would have been driving it between 1 p.m. Saturday and 8:45 a.m. Sunday — but on Monday morning, officers found the Tahoe abandoned on the west side of Salt Lake City, with a dog and a significant amount of blood inside it, according to a police news release.

Salt Lake PD Detective Dennis McGowan told ABC4 News that the Tahoe's owner is an acquaintance of Gallegos who has been questioned and cleared of any involvement. Baca says the Tahoe belongs to her son.

"It was Kiko's car," Baca said. "There was a significant amount of blood and bullet holes in the car so we don't know. That's all we know"...

"Felons or not they're still people and they need to be treated as such," said Gallegos' younger brother Eli Hall. "They have families. They all have troubled pasts but that has nothing to do with what's going on now and their family needs to know."

So the Tahoe does belong to one of them? I'm surprised this hasn't gotten more attention, really strange.

I wonder what's going on with this? No news for days now?

They don't say if the ATV was found along with the car or if that is missing also.

That ATV is probably worth in the $10-12,000 dollar range. The trailer would probably be worth a couple thousand bucks....So.... a $14,000--$16, 000 pay day for a thief.

A few years back I was out running around the forest on my ATV there in Arizona, when I came across a couple of dudes dressing out an elk along a trail. The only problem was..........it was July.......no where near hunting season.

I came to a stop and let my ATV idle for a second........they eyed me up and down, and I eyed them up and down...................we could all see that everybody was armed with sidearms............mine was a 9mm with 15 bullets in it, holstered on my waist in plain sight. I slowly just backed up and got far enough away that I knew they were out of range, and then I flipped the ATV around and high-tailed it out of the area. I've wondered many times since then what might have happened to me had I not been packing heat that day. You spend time in prison for poaching elk there in Arizona. Those hillbilly poachers have no intention of spending time in the Big House.

I only got away that day because it was a fair fight, and nobody was gonna win it. Everybody was prepared to fill the other guy full of holes.

Many people have disappeared out in that same forest, and I think running into poachers and seeing something you aren't supposed to is a pretty fast way to get yourself "missing".
