Jessica Padgett --- Help Find Jessica Facebook Page

We need some assistance from the public to help locate a missing person. Jessica Padgett went missing Friday, between 12:30-2PM from her place of employment. Authorities have located her vehicle at the Dollar General parking lot in town, but there is still no sign of Jessica. We don't have a clothing description at this time but know she has a footprint tattoo on her right shoulder and is 5'4" and weighs about 130lbs. If anyone has seen or has any information about her whereabouts contact Northampton Borough Police.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

Her disappearance has now been reported in the Lehigh Valley area.

Not sure if this is at all relevant, especially without any additional information about Ms. Padgett, but Holly Grim went missing under suspicious circumstances on the Friday before Thanksgiving, last year on November 22, 2013, after taking her son to the bus stop at the Red Maples Mobile Home Park in Lower Macungie. She has not been located and her case is still active.

These two places are less than 15 miles apart and according to route and traffic it is only about 30 minutes drive time. Just thought it may be worth mentioning. Hope she is found soon and safe
The following post is strictly just my opinion based on my interpretation of what has been written in Main Street Media, Private Newspapers and other posts to this site. Unless I have provided a link ---- any information should not be considered to be anything more than that.
    ---------------------------------------
Iím still here because the shadow in my mind gave me a place to hide until it was safe to come out.

Finding her car abandoned is not a very good sign as all of you know so well here. Since it was found in the parking lot of a Dollar General store, I would assume that there has to be some security video of her car which should answer a lot of questions.

According to her sister, there were only cameras at one of the surrounding stores but they were not pointed in the direction of where her car was found.

    Who saw her last?
Never assume you know anything... or everything... about a missing person, a POI or the details of a case. (paraphrasing great advice from trackergd Holly Grim thread).

I have learned that people tend to believe, hold onto and investigate off whatever a witness, a suspect, friend or family says...People lie.
    Think outside the box.

From her facebook, she had a baby boy 2 years ago in December and she had a son a few years older than him too. She mentions a daughter but indicates that she doesn't like the daughter's mother, so maybe a stepdaughter. It looked like she had only been married for a couple of years or so, and it appears that she works in a day care or nursery school of some kind. She's a pretty lady with a nice looking family and I hope she will come home safe. It's worrying that her car was left parked at a dollar store without her being there.

I saw that her reason for leaving work was to send a fax in Northhampton.

    Whitehall woman remains missing Sunday
A Whitehall Township woman remains missing Sunday after she did not return to her job at a day care center on Friday in Northampton, police said. Jessica Padgett, 34, was last seen leaving Duck Duck Goose Child Care on Canal Street at 12:50 p.m. Friday, state police at Bethlehem said Saturday. She was supposed to return a short time later but did not. Police said they located the vehicle she was driving, a white Subaru Outback, in Northampton. Friends of Padgett started a "Help Find Jessica Padgett" page on Facebook. According to a missing person flier posted on the Facebook page, Padgett's last contact was by cell phone to her husband at about 1 p.m. Friday.
