Viktoras Bruzas, 38, appeared at Guildford crown court on Tuesday charged with two counts of murder, of Patrick and Gillian Kettyle. There was no application for bail and the next hearing is due December 19, before Mr Justice (Judge) Sweeney.

Unless I'm mistaken, Judge Sweeney just finished presiding over the trial of another multiple killing - that of Tania Clarence, for the suffocation of her three children, which also had a thread here on WS.
