Police probe December disappearance of Phoenix woman

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police served a search warrant at the home of a woman who was reported missing in December in an effort to further the investigation. Tamara Jo Stackhouse, 57, was reportedly last seen late in the evening on Saturday, Nov. 30 and reported missing by her husband the following day. She had left without her vehicle, purse, wallet, credit cards, ID and cellphone.

Police said they recently received a call from a family member that led them to seek a search warrant for the home near 56th Street and Acoma Drive, where Stackhouse lived with her husband and 16-year-old son. Police said a forensic review is proceeding for multiple computers and storage devices. Detectives also noted changes to Stackhouse's bedroom, which she did not share with her husband.
"It created an environment in which it was difficult for us to do some forensic work -- repainting of the home and some of those things," said Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Trent Crump. "Her room specifically had some changes made to it that we thought were unusual."

Details of Disappearance
Stackhouse was last seen at her residence in the vicinity of 56th Street and east Acoma Drive in the early morning hours of November 30, 2013. She lived there with her husband and teenage son. She left her purse, identification, debit card and cellular phone behind and has never been heard from again.

According to her family, Stackhouse had disappeared for weeks at a time before, but she's never been gone for this long. Her family believes she may have met with foul play. Her case remains unsolved.

Bumping for Tamara...this week marks 7 years since she disappeared.
