Many times frustrating computer problems can be solved by simply "clearing your cookies." Below are the best instructions I have ever read on how to do this. Thanks to my Internet buddy for sending me this.

The steps below show you how to clear your browser's cache. If you are not sure what browser you are using, please follow the steps below:

Click on the Help option on the Menu bar. The last option should start with the word "About". Highlight and click the "About..." in the Help menu. This will open a window telling you what you are using (Internet Explorer, AOL, Netscape)and the version number. The version might be a series of numbers and dots. The only one you need to know is the left most number (For example, my Internet Explorer says "Version: 5.50.4807.2300 so I would look under the Internet Explorer 4-5 instructions)

Internet Explorer 6

1) Select "Tools | Internet Options..." from the main menu

2) Click on "Delete Files" button (If you don't see "Delete Files" change to the "General" tab)

3) Click OK to Delete all files in the Temporary Internet Files.

Internet Explorer 4 - 5

1) Select "View | Internet Options..." from the main menu

2) Change to the "General" tab

3) Click on "Delete Files" button

4) Click OK to Delete all files in the Temporary Internet Files.

America Online 7

1) Click Settings, Preferences, and go to Internet Properties(WWW).

2) Click on the WWW box within the Preferences window.

3) Select the General tab.

4) Within the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete Files button.

5) Click OK to Delete all files in the Temporary Internet Files.

America Online 4 - 6

1) Click on My AOL on the AOL tool bar.

2) Highlight and click on Preferences within the My AOL menu.

3) Click on the WWW box within the Preferences window.

4) Select the General tab.

5) Within the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete Files button.

6) Click OK to Delete all files in the Temporary Internet Files.

AOL 5 (Mac)

1) From the "My AOL" pull down menu, select "Preferences" on the toolbar.

2) Locate the "WWW" icon and click on it.

3) Locate the square labeled "Disk Cache." Click on the "Empty Cache Now" button.

4) Click "OK."

5) Quit out of the browser.

6) Launch the browser again.

Netscape Navigator

1) Select "Edit | Preferences..." from the main menu

2) Change to the "Advanced | Cache" section

I hope I did this right. I had the option on IE 6 to Delete Cookies and another to Delete Files. I did both...then thought I probably should not have.

I've done this (cleared cookies) several times and still, WS makes me sign in even if I refresh a page...this just started up in the past day or two...is there anything else I can try? Thanks.
