The person's name is Walter Harold Ordway. I have never started a new thread so I alerted a Mod because I am not sure if I did it right. (Obviously not, as I have a comma between his middle and last name, ugh, hopefully somebody will fix for me)

You did great NWLady! I've been trying to find a pic of him. Wonder why they don't have one out on him yet?

    Thanks, Ima.
Our news stations haven't had a picture of him yet either. From what I have heard so far, it sounds like they just started the search for him today; today was the first time I heard about it. This is only about 20-25 miles from me.

We see what's going to happen - what will surely happen - unless we come together: we - the Peoples of all Nations - to restore peace and harmony and balance to the Earth, our Mother.

Authorities in Monona County believe that a missing Soldier, Iowa man may have fallen through the ice while attempting to rescue his dog, almost a month ago...

Authorities believe Ordway took his dog for a run near a local lake on November 17. They believe the dog fell in, and Ordway went after him, both succumbing to the cold water. The dog was found dead in Gorham's Dam nearby...

Officials have temporarily suspended the search for Ordway due to the ice conditions on the lake in Oldham Recreational Area. They're keeping the area closed through the weekend.

The air of mystery around Walt Ordway's presumed death is entirely consistent with the western Iowa farmer's colorful, peculiar life. He roamed these Loess Hills as something of an iconoclastic rural wizard.

He had no children. But Ordway cultivated a vast, eclectic and far-flung ad hoc family that now mourns him — a family that also might not be too surprised if it turns out that he just vanished into thin air...

Ordway was mercurial. Friends also knew he had planned to trek to a family funeral in Pennsylvania. People were distracted by Thanksgiving. So hunters stumbled onto Ordway's truck before any alarm had been raised to trigger a search.
