    http://www.idahostatejournal.com/mem...230212e2e.html

Teton said that officers received an anonymous tip that Auck, 44, had been shot and killed by Anthony Ish, 32, at a residence on East Agency Road on or about Oct. 15, and evidence at the scene indicated that someone had been injured.

Ish was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and was arrested at the residence on East Agency Road. He is currently incarcerated at the Fort Hall Correction center.

Last week, the Fort Hall Business Council announced that a $5,000 reward would be paid for information leading to the recovery of Auck’s body and the Fort Hall Police issued a missing persons poster.

Still have not located Darrell Auck's body, but the trial of the man accused has been continued until September:

Anthony Ish, the Fort Hall man charged with assault with a dangerous weapon in the shooting of Darrell Auck in October, was back in federal court this week.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jack Haycock said the trial for Ish was continued until Sept. 1. According to police and court reports, witnesses stated that Ish, 32, shot Auck, 44, at a residence on East Agency Road. Police discovered evidence of a shooting, but Auck's body has never been recovered.

This part of the article really stuck out to me - sounds like DA might have died over gang "colors"

Earlier this year, Haycock said the case has not been connected to gang activity, but the witnesses claimed that a bandanna might have led to Auck’s death. One witness said that Auck was wearing a blue bandanna and sometime during the evening, someone swapped it for a white one.

Trial of Anthony Ish is currently underway.

Informant testifies that Ish asked for help moving dead body

    http://idahostatejournal.com/news/lo...9813a78c2.html

During the fourth day of testimony in the murder trial of Anthony Ish of Fort Hall, the jury heard from two government informants. One of the informants said Ish asked him to move the body and a second said the defendant inquired about DNA collection.

Ish is charged with second-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon in the shooting death of 44-year-old Darrell Auck at a party on Oct. 14, 2014.

Auck’s body has not been recovered.

Jay Wesley Cates said he’s known Ish since he was a child.

In fact, Cates told the court Friday that he used to babysit the defendant. But Cates said he got to know Ish well when the two of them shared a cell at the Bannock County jail.

Cates told the court that during that time, Ish said that he needed Cates to move a body from a buried location to another site. He said that Ish wanted him to move the body to a canal and cover it with rocks.
This week, four people testified that they witnessed Ish shoot Auck three times at a rural residence owned by Ish’s grandmother, Bonnie Ish. Jurors heard the 911 call placed by one of those witnesses and he asked the dispatcher to hurry, because he believed they were going to hide the body.

Frank Ish, Anthony’s uncle, told the federal court that he saw Anthony Ish drag the body to the side of the trailer home and that he watched Anthony and Aarika Ish load the body into the back of a pickup truck. He said Anthony Ish returned 30 minutes later and asked for a shovel.

Anthony Ish sentenced to life in prison for murdering man whose body has never been found

    http://idahostatejournal.com/news/lo...705cc2225.html

The fact the victim’s body has never been found didn’t help Anthony Martin Ish at his trial earlier this year for the murder of a fellow Fort Hall resident.

The same was true at Thursday’s sentencing at Pocatello’s federal courthouse.

U.S. District Judge Edward J. Lodge sentenced Ish, 34, to life in prison for the murder of Darrel Auck almost three years ago.
