I know. I hope she turns up soon but where could she be? I'd like more information about her. Here's her twitter. Lots of stuff on there to sift through and wonder about: https://twitter.com/ashleeaye/media

The area she went missing from is not a safe area, IMO. I know it fairly well. An email went out to students at Cal State Long Beach about a week ago about an assault on a female in the parking structure there. She was attacked by a man with a knife but she fought back and grabbed the knife. She sliced her hand pretty good but it scared the man enough that he gave up and ran off. Here is a news article about it: http://ktla.com/2014/12/09/woman-rep...te-long-beach/

Armond was described as a Hispanic female, standing around 5 feet 2 inches, weighing about 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, a red T-shirt and black yoga pants.

Armond drives a 2001 dark green Honda Accord with California license plate 4YDU298.

If you have any information about her whereabouts, you're urged to contact the Long Beach Police Department at (562) 435-6711.

It looks like CSULB is only a one minute drive from where this girl was last seen. Right across from there. But I stupidly didn't realize, until reading your link, that she went missing in her car. So where is it? Has her car been found? Was it sighted near her boyfriend's house? Are we sure she left the location she was reported to last be at, in her car?

Depending on which route she took, there might not be a lot of cameras to track her movements. I wish we knew where the boyfriend lives. That would help map possible routes.

Scared for this girl . She seems so cute and funny on her Twitter. Lots of good pics of her car, tattoos, etc. On there, too. Also, she mentions her dad "is police."

LongBeach311 is helping get the word out on twitter:

    https://twitter.com/LongBeach311/sta...51365366882304

Unfortunately not long after he tweeted it the first time, he tweeted this:

Bixby Village: *Vehicle into Water w/ Fatality* 5th st and Silvera Ave. @lbfd @LongBeachPD_CA divers recovered body from the channel.
    https://twitter.com/LongBeach311/sta...55116706217984

It's obviously very close (just about .6 of a mile) from where she started, and is NEAR one of the two most likely routes she'd be taking home (continuing down 7th to 22 and then taking 405 or else taking 7th to Studebaker and take that up to 405) BUT she'd have to have somehow jogged several blocks off course to drive into the canal at the spot the car was found at.

    https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=E...=h&mra=ls&z=13

So either she'd have to have been lost, the car would have to have veered off course and then moved down the canal a bit, or...I'm not sure what else options wise would make sense.

That makes me think that while it's very close to where she was AND very close to her likely routes home, that it's not as likely to be her as it would seem like initially.

Some of her twitter posts are concerning. On December 11th she says it is hard not feeling safe in her home especially when her parents do not either. She also says in another that she is exhausted by something and wishes her friend was with her because she is the on one who gets her. Also, she seems to be a regular poster and has not posted anything since she was last heard from.

But she wasn't going home, was she? Going to boyfriend's house?

Sorry, between the friend's and the boyfriend's

Regardless of what the two places are, it doesn't change the point.

She was going between two places and if you look at the map, the second spot on the map (the one said to be where the car was found in the canal - though really it's about another block over) it doesn't truly make much sense in light of the two most likely routes she would have used to get between the two intersections given as her starting and ending points.

And I only think that may be relevant because it means more hope it's not her/her car.

Sinead's post above shows Ashlee died in a single vehicle crash.
