Neil went on an ocean fishing trip with his son Neil Alan Eddleman, and his friend Gary Lisk 61, on October 17, 2003 in Naples Florida. Photographs of Lisk and of a boat similar to the one they had are posted in the case summary. The boat which belonged to Lisk and was name *What's Left* was a white 24 foot Hydrasport vessel with a white hard top and a single 200HP Evenrude outboard engine, it was made in 1997. More...

This does not sound like a boating "accident" but possibly homicide - found this link - interesting (and sad) reading - more to this story (autopsy findings on George Lisk) - looks like a job for some serious WSr's ?:waitasec:

I dont believe this is the same person after further searching, found a post on the orca website /w "harvey" last name and that he passed away in 2005.

However.....

There are 2 Neil Eddleman's on intellus. Both are 56, one is the missing NE the other goes by Neil N Eddleman and Norman N Eddleman. Lives in Texas. Found a marriage record on Knowx, married to a BBE. Found her on fb and her friends show a Neil Eddleman. Cant see his pic real well, hair graying too. No other male eddlemans listed but 2 females,older and married that where eddlemans. Curious if Neil has 2 sisters.

I doubt these 2 cases are directly related, but these 3 men went missing from the same wreck site 9 years earlier.

The more I read, the more interesting this case is. Thank you everyone for the links! This could be family/custody/'ex' drama, it also could have a business/drug nexus. Does anyone know how many people could fit in the boat? I'm also wondering if the California wreck might have been some type of rendezvous spot...Also wondering if that might have been the case in the Madott/Shearer/Munro case, perhaps it's a well known spot or the first cast gave someone in the second case an idea.....
