UK - Patrick Lamb, 28, Maidstone, Kent, 13 Dec 2014

Family and friends of a man who went missing during a night out in Kent have said they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Patrick Lamb, 28, was last seen with friends in Bar Chocolate in Maidstone on Saturday at about 00:30 GMT.

These pubs he was at (Bar Chocolate, Strawberry Moons and The Old House At Home) are so close to the River, within a road or two. Gave me bad vibes straight away. Seems like the police are starting to look there, he was very drunk and alone. Maybe hit his head. How many times do we see this play out?

Friends and family will mount a search tonight for Pat Lamb, who has been missing since Friday, as rescue teams continue to scour the river Medway.

The party will meet at the Muggleton Inn in Maidstone High Street at 8pm before dispersing to hunt for the 28-year-old.

Rescue teams continue to search a section of the River Medway in canoes as the fifth day of the hunt draws to a close.

After days of river and town searching, nothing. His girlfriend has made plea on YouTube and the latest post on his page had a list of all the CCTV cameras in the area in the comments. Still not a single image released. Very odd.

Patrick Lamb, 28, Maidstone, Kent 13 December 2014

A possible new lead has unfortunately come to a dead-end.

Also says in this article he hit his head on a window and was advised to get help from paramedics but he refused. I do not have a good feeling about this.

    From the Facebook page

Pat grew up in the area of Whitstable and Canterbury. He attended university in Winchester and has lived in Greenhithe, Kent for the past 5 years with his partner. He is aged 28, white, 5'7"tall, slim to medium build, he has hazel eyes and short dark hair. He may have grown a beard since his disappearance but was clean shaven/had short stubble on the night he disappeared.
Pat went missing after a night out with two friends in Maidstone on Friday 12th December. He had a hotel room booked for that night at the Grange Moor Hotel on Saint Michael's Road, Maidstone. He never returned to the hotel and his work van was left in the hotel car park. His friends reported his disappearance to the police early afternoon on Saturday 13th December.
Pat attended Bar Chocolate with his friends, he left on his own at 11.35pm.
After leaving Bar Chocolate he walked down Gabriels Hill where we suspect he hit his head. We suspect he hit his head as he appears on CCTV leaning against the shop 'Robert Dyers' and rubbing his head. Two individual witnesses confirm a bang to the head. One witness states that he banged his head on the Wimpy shop window (she remembers Pat from seeing him in Bar Chocolate). A doorman from Strawberry Moons nightclub approached Pat and pointed in the direction of medical aid but Pat ignores this (this witness has spoken to the police). Nobody is certain as to how significant the bump to the head was as he goes on to walk further and order a subway.
At 11.49pm Pat pays for a footlong sandwich in the 'Subway' in Gabriels Hill. He orders his usual footlong sandwich and pays using his card.
Pat re- appears going back down the High Street, this is at 11.59pm and is where the CCTV still is shown as outside the bank TSB. (For the past two weeks this has been the last CCTV footage in which Pat appeared).
A witness remembers Pat in the 'House at Home' pub on Pudding Lane, he was escorted out of the premises for being too intoxicated.
Pat is seen on CCTV walking in Medway Street car park at 12.23pm (this timing may not be exact as the camera times are slightly out so there could be a difference of 11 minutes). Family have confirmed that it is indeed Pat on this footage. (This CCTV was found today 30/12/14).
It has been reported that Pat is next seen on CCTV on Fairmeadow by Earl Street, heading towards the river Medway. This CCTV footage is very grainy and cannot be identified as Pat. Police are working from one witness' testimony which coincides with the timings but there is still no concrete proof of where Pat headed from Medway street carpark. (The witness who places Pat near the river was initially ruled out by the police as he described Pat as wearing a checked shirt).
Pat's iPhone last pinged at 1.30am within a five mile radius of Wyke Manor road, it is then believed to have run out of battery and was switched off from around that time. (Friends have confirmed that he did not charge his phone before leaving the hotel room that night). Reportings of phone activity at 3.38am is when a message came through, not when his phone was on. It is important to note that his phone would not have pinged a signal at 1.30am if it was immersed in water. We know that he had his phone on his person as he is seen putting his phone in his pocket when he is spotted on CCTV on Gabriels Hill.
Since the early stages of his disappearance the police and family have exhausted all avenues in relation to finding his phone on 'find my iPhone' etc.
All witnesses behind the above information have spoken to police. All hospitals in Kent, London and Essex have been checked.
Pat's accounts have been checked on a daily basis, he has not used his account since purchasing a 'subway' on 12th December. He had little money on him.
We have searched Maidstone town extensively and have moved onto surrounding areas.
His disappearance is extremely out of character, he has never gone missing before whereby he has not been in contact with anyone. He is family minded and hates a fuss, he would not wish for his loved ones to worry about him.
It has been commented that the story does not add up and that we are holding something back. We can assure all of our likers that the above information is everything we know, as frustrating as that is for us all. CCTV has been extremely slow forthcoming. For the past two weeks the latest CCTV footage we had of Pat was at 11.59pm outside TSB bank. Today we viewed the latest CCTV of him in Medway street carpark, that is the extent of the footage so far. We will be seeking to release this footage to the public.

I keep looking for updates on Patrick but nothing yet. There's been a few sightings this morning by two separate, unknown to each other, people which are being checked out and sounds quite positive.

It's been almost 4 weeks. If he ended up in the water then surely he would have been found by now. Also, the last definite CCTV footage was at 12.23am and his phone ran out of battery at 1.30am. The water was fairly close to where he was last seen (Google maps playing up so can't check exactly how far) so what was he doing in that 70mins?

I don't live to far from Maidstone and have been there many times but I could easily get lost there. I wonder how well Patrick knew the area.

    Hoping he returns home safely

Police are continuing to search the River Medway each day in the hunt for missing Patrick Lamb...

But despite extensive searches by police, in-depth examinations of CCTV footage and searches of the river by police divers in three different places, his disappearance remains unexplained.

The team searching for Pat Lamb have this lunchtime reported a sighting of him.

They were contacted by a lorry driver yesterday who believes he may have seen Mr Lamb in the early hours of the morning he went missing.

There is now a separate FB page dedicated to the search. It seems that they've received quite a few reports of sightings (including one in the past 10 minutes). My fingers are crossed for this young man and his family.

It looks like there's been quite a social media push to find Patrick, I've seen lots more shares etc in the last day or so.
