Hello,
Possibly this topic has already been addressed. If so, my apologies in advance. Please point me to the thread.

In following several cases, I find online articles written by investigators who use a technique called Statement Analysis.

Having read about this technique, I see several holes.

For those of you who have much experience, what is your opinion on this technique?

Is it considered to be valid in the world of law enforcement? Have your personally found it to be helpful?

Thank you for your input!

We do allow statement analysis. LE has been known to use statement analysis from time to time. It sometimes will depend on who is doing the analysis. Some tend to go way out into left field on this type of analysis and so we are somewhat choosey as to who we allow. We do not allow reverse speech analysis, which some tend to confuse with statement analysis.
