"Metro 911 said the suspect is believed to be Mike Maynor, who is of Middle Eastern descent, with black hair and is wearing a black leather jacket."

The only info found so far regarding the suspects.

The shooting occurred at 4 p.m. when Greenbrier County’s LPR, or license plate recognition camera, pinged an allegedly stolen plate on a white Chevy Suburban, said Hinkle.

The 911 Center reported the stolen tags to the Lewisburg Police Department, which responded by sending two officers to stop the SUV.

For nearly two hours, a number of law enforcement agencies across southern West Virginia engaged in an intensive manhunt looking for the truck that reportedly had a tarp-covered bed and was being driven by a man of Middle Eastern descent.

The suspects are from Texas and claim to be father and son, say police, who stopped the SUV after spotting stolen North Carolina plates.

It just seems strange to me that they would remove the bodies and transport them in the back of a truck, instead of leaving the bodies in a blazing home. Idk.....

Very strange. I wonder if they were from texas what led them to north carolina and yes why take the bodies? and where were they headed? The trip from oak hill nc to lewisburg wv is a little less then 4 hours.

Troopers said the SUV was driven by 21-year-old Eric Alexander Campbell.

The driver of the truck - 54-year-old Edward Campbell - got out and shot at the police officers with a pistol, wounding both. Lt. Michael Baylous of the West Virginia State Police said one officer returned fire, wounding the the older Campbell in the leg.

Strange coincidence that a JF Jr. is a Captain of a NC fire department?
