Missing Person

On January 19, 2015 Beaverton Police were contacted by the family of Sarah Roecker 57 years of age because she was missing. Sarah left her apartment in Beaverton either late in the evening on January 18th or the morning of the 19th and has not been seen since. She should be driving her maroon 2008 Honda Civic displaying Oregon Crater Lake license plate CL04462.

Police said she left a lengthy suicide note and sent disturbing text message photos to family members.

Her cell phone was last pinged Monday night in Gresham and has since been turned off. Investigators said there has been no bank account activity for Roecker since she was reported missing.

How terrible for her family.....waiting for her to be found. Hopefully she got away, cleared her head and had a change of heart.

"The only endangerment issue is that Sarah left a lengthy suicide note and has sent several text messages with photos of headstones to family members," Rowe said Tuesday morning. "Her cell phone was last pinged last night in Gresham and is now off. There has also been no bank activity since Sarah was reported missing."

I hope she's found safe.

Most recent picture of Sarah. She had recently cut her hair.

Also, per her family, her last phone ping was in Boring, Oregon not Gresham as is being reported in the media.

According to a post on the Find Sarah Roecker Facebook page Sarah's car has been located on a remote forest road. The person who reported it said it had been there for at least a week. There are 20-30 professional searchers looking in the area.

They said it was found in a heavily forested area of Washington state. Hard to imagine her going there and being able to go somewhere else without her car. I'm sure the family just wants closure at this point, but also a miracle. I hope there is a way that she is still alive out there.

This is reminding me of Jennifer Huston who went missing in Oregon. Her car was found on a forest type off road & she was found close by. Her COD was suicide. [emoji26]

Active searches are still ongoing for Sarah in the area her car was found. As of today, she has not been located yet.

We are still waiting for the weather conditions to cooperate in order for the SAR team to continue their search. Unfortunately right now there are no updates. Thank you for your continued support.
