Blue Ash police, unraveling a bizarre murder case, said a young pediatrician killed her mother, then cut herself.
Police said they found 28-year-old Malar Balasubramanian lying partially clothed on the side of a road, then discovered the body of 53-year-old Saroja Balasubramanian inside a car Wednesday morning, News 5's Brian Hamrick reported.
It is not clear if the daughter tried to kill herself, police said. She was charged with aggravated murder.
Police said they found the daughter covered in grass, cuts and bruises on Glendale-Milford Road near McKinley Avenue at 7 a.m. She was wearing only underwear and a T-shirt and appeared to be heavily medicated.
She was barely coherent but she told police another person was injured in a black car, News 5 reported.
Police found a black car in a nearby parking lot. They spotted bloody blankets in the back seat and found the mother's body under the blankets.
The car apparently had been there since Tuesday afternoon, News 5 reported.
