Police looking to crack case of panelbeater murder offer $1m
CRIMINALS linked to drive-by shootings are key suspects in the murder of a Campbellfield businessman.
Iraqi-born Saleh Dheibech was fatally wounded as he welded at the front of his panelbeating shop, probably by people he knew.
Investigators believe friction linked to his work was behind the deadly attack in Mason St on January 27, 2010.
Insp White said he hoped the reward would yield the final breakthrough needed to bring the killers to justice.
One shot was fired from a blue Subaru WRX as Mr Dheibech worked late on a summer evening.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw the Subaru in the Mason St area about the time of the tragedy, at 9.17pm.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or go to the website, crimestoppers.com.au https://www.crimestoppersvic.com.au/
Police are asking anyone who may have seen a blue Subaru WRX around Mason St at the time of the shooting.
