    TX - Belle Neal, 46, Spicewood, 30 January 2015

Belle Neal - Help Find Belle Neal

Missing woman last seen January 30th going for a walk
SPICEWOOD, Texas (KXAN) — Authorities are asking for help in the search for a 46-year-old woman reported missing over the weekend. Belle Patcharin Neal was last seen Jan. 30 in the 18400 block of Deep Well Drive, in northwest Travis County. Sheriff’s deputies and TEXSAR search and rescue crews have looked for Neal in that area, but have not been able to find her. The crews will be back out in the area to look for her.

The Travis County Sheriff’s Office says there is no evidence of any criminal activity surrounding her disappearance, but there were indications Neal was depressed and may have wanted to hurt herself.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

She was wearing a green puffy winter jacket, a pink shirt, blue jeans and knee high brown boots.

TEXSAR assists in search for missing woman
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office says 46-year-old Belle Neal disappeared late last week near Spicewood.

Texas Search and Rescue was on scene Saturday with more than 30 volunteers and search dogs looking for Neal.

TEXSAR is called out due to their expertise in dealing with time-sensitive rescue missions.

“It’s not random searches,” said team member Shawn Hohnstreiter. “It’s not just beating the brush. It’s using science and math and statistical information that exists on searches nationally and internationally.”

“They invest a lot of time, their resources, their personal leave from their paying jobs to perform this work and it’s important work,” said TEXSAR Incident Commander Greg Pyles. “It helps our partners, our public safety partners and families and Texans in their darkest hour.”

In the title of this thread it states Sweetwater as the location of this missing person. That is incorrect. There is a Sweetwater, TX (remember Hailey Dunn). However, this person is missing from Spicewood, TX which is on the west side of Austin. The subdivision she's missing from is Sweetwater. Perhaps the original poster or a mod can make this correction. Thanks!

Spicewood, TX is in Burnet County.

They're 15 miles apart. She traveled quite a distance on foot?

Police: Missing woman found dead in Travis Co. creek
    http://kxan.com/2015/02/12/police-mi...avis-co-creek/
SPICEWOOD, Texas (KXAN) — The body of a woman missing since late last month was recovered Wednesday from a creek in western Travis County, the sheriff’s office said.
    <snip>
“All evidence points to drowning but the final ruling on the cause of death, as well as the manner of death, is pending toxicology results,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
There is no evidence of any criminal activity surrounding her death. Authorities originally reported there were indications Neal was depressed and may have wanted to hurt herself.
    RIP Belle.
