In a very embarrassing accident, a British soldier from a military driving school in Paderborn, Germany, has driven his large tank straight through an elderly couple's front yard.
67-year-old Ulrich Tilsner and his wife seemed to take it in their stride:
'Mr Tilsner's granddaughter Stephanie Ney told German newspaper Neue Westfalische: "My grandfather called me and said, 'I'm a bit late, I have a tank in the garden.'"
A spokesperson for Paderborn Garrison gave this helpful technical explanation for the crash: "Something came loose".
