Tina Davidson, 15, body found March 27, 1973

- stabbed 60 times, struck in head, beaten, stab wound to heart

- lying against a cyclone fence south of 17th St beach near Racine

- struck in head, beaten and stabbed 60 times, had been hitchhiking. Body found 16h St beach area. Victim's mother: "She was with a friend last night…He had a bike last night, but he does have a car. Right after he left, Tina went to her room and came out with a canvas bag. She said she had some clothes in it and was going to take it to a friend's house.

Some interesting facts...

Tina's full name was Tina Marie Davidson. Her father was summoned to appear in Racine court regarding her welfare two years before.

Last, but not least, a newspaper article from October 21, 1974 Racine Journal Times showing that Dennis Brantner worked at the Jupiter Discount Store at 430 Main St. in Racine, just 10 blocks north of where Tina Marie Davidson was found dead. Dennis Brantner was recently arrested in Kenosha, WI for the murder of Berit Beck.

I wonder if he was ever questioned for the Tina Davidson murder and where he lived in Racine at the time?

Brantner is from the Durant-Mondovi, WI area, where he started his criminal career.

hi I was just reading about this killer William Reinhold and well being what we do know about tina he too I would think to look in to as well since where in Illinois he has said to have killed it's like less then 90 miles from racine wi.

After reading all the information I believe that DENNIS BRATNER Murder Tina Davidson. Look at the locations that are named and marked out for you. Tina's home, where DENNIS BRATNER worked at some point and WHERE TINA'S BODY WAS FOUND. He got a job close to where the body was found maybe so he could relive his killing of Tina like a TROPHY he could see or go to everyday. Seeing his had a criminal history. It would have been easy to lure kidnap a 15 year old girl into a situation she was ill prepared for and could not deal with. If he is still alive they need to take a run at this guy,I imagine he is still in prison.
 
Ten years later, Helen Sebastian was kidnapped from the same area as Tina Davidson. They lived about 1.5 miles from each other. The beach where Tina's body was found is only 7 blocks from Helen's house, at the east end of 17th St. Helen's body parts were found in the same area that Tina disappeared from.

Tina was last seen at about 9:30 pm the night she was murdered. The article described him as being between 35 and 40 years old, 5-8 t0 5-9 in height, 170-180 weight, reddish, stiff, coarse hair, green eyes with crows feet wrinkles. Reddish face with long sideburns or a mustache. The article goes on to give a description of the vehicle he was seen driving. I put Helen Sebastian's home where she was last seen at just to show the close proximity of the murders. The suspect would be 85 to 90 years old if he were alive today.

Red line on top - route she said she was going to hitchhike - West on 20 is Washington Ave.

So how does she end up one mile south of where she wanted to go? And where was it that she was going? She must of told her friends where she was going.

And another unsolved murder, Judith Nelson, 25, at 1504 Center St, Racine, strangled with 3 children present. See (F) on the map. Patricia Ann Oley, age 30, another divorcee, mother of two children, of 1701 Holmes Av., Racine. 1701 Holmes Ave. (G) is 4 blocks east of Quincy Ave, where Tina Davidson was last seen by her friends. (E)

Killed May 27, 1965. Found in a grassy ditch on 7 Mile Road just west of its intersection with County Truck V in the Town of Caledonia near Racine. Her blood was found at Racine North Beach. (I don't know if Racine North Beach is the same beach Tina Davidson was found at)

"Killed by multiple heavy blows to the head and face. Dr. Myron Schuster said there were at least 10 or 12 blows, some of them while the head was held steady." (Kenosha News 16 Jul 1965)

27 March will mark the 50 year anniversary of Tina's murder.

it happen the night of the 26th but they found her in the morning of the 27th and yes its been 50 yers and still nothing
