Nuttella: 'Richest candyman on the planet' is dead
Michele Ferrero, the multi-billionaire patriarch of the Italian Nuttella, Ferrero Rocher and Kinder chocolate empire, has died aged 89. He has been called 'the richest candyman on the planet', worth an estimated $23 billion plus.
'Ferrero's father, Pietro, turned the family pastry shop into a production facility back in the 1940s. Because of World War II, chocolate was rationed, so he mixed in hazelnuts to produce more product. The spread now known as Nutella was once six times less expensive than chocolate, according to the company.'

I could live off of Nutella and Rocher chocolates… my diet would suffer, but that stuff is beyond delicious.
RIP, Mr. Ferrero, you did well.
