A homeless woman in Columbus, Ohio, panhandled or walked for up to three hours a day to ensure she was at court to help convict the man who raped her last March. Prosecutors also helped her out with fares sometimes, and say the rapist 'hoped she wouldn't show up'.
54-year-old Paul Hubert finally pleaded guilty last week and was sentenced to three years in prison. His attorney said he has alcohol and drug problems that 'turn him into a completely different person'.
The victim, who hasn't been identified, has been homeless for two years but is hoping she can find a place to live.
